Store Policies

The majority of our customers are extremely happy with their items and never need to return them.

To initiate a return, you must request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 15 days of receipt of the product. Items sent to our offices or to the warehouse with out prior approval will NOT be refunded or exchanged. Please make sure that the products is in its original or “carrier approved” packaging to prevent any shipping damage. You may return any item for any reason within 15 days of receipt unless otherwise noted on the product page (e.g., custom made items are made to order and are not returnable) or noted on the following condition:

- If you are returning your item due to shipping damage or our error, your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price once we receive the item(s) back from you and they have been inspected. Items received in non-saleable condition (e.g., parts or packaging are missing, etc.) may be subject to additional restocking fees or denied.

 - If you are returning your item due to a change of mind or you ordered a part by error, your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price less the cost of original and return shipping and other fees charged by the distributor. The refund will be issued once we have received the item(s) back from you and they have been inspected. Items received in non-saleable condition (e.g., parts or packaging are missing, etc.) may be subject to additional restocking fees (20%) or denied.

If you would like to reorder this or another item, please follow the normal order procedures. - Items received with shipping damage must be reported to us within two business days. All items must be in "off-the-shelf and in-the-original-box" condition (this includes all original packaging) Items that have been installed, drilled, bent, scratched, or otherwise damaged are no longer in salable condition and are not eligible for return.

 - In the event that the product proves to be defective from the manufacturer or if the fitment is not possible due to an error in manufacturing, we may request additional information in the form of pictures once received and reviewed, we will begin a return process.

- Accessories of America do not accept returns on used items, custom-painted products or items shipped via truck freight.

- Orders cancelled after an item has shipped will have to be returned before a refund is given and are subject to the normal return policies and fees.

Accessories of America offer all original warranties and will help you work with the manufacturer to resolve your problems as quickly as possible. All stainless steel products are covered by limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty. All black powder coated steel products are covered by limited 3-year manufacturer's warranty. All Chrome products are covered by limited 1-year manufacturer's warranty. This warranty does not cover shipping damage, misuse, mishandling, improper installation, road hazards, and impairment from accidents, product modifications, discoloration, or scratches during the life of the product. This warranty does not cover cost for installation, removal, labor or shipping. This warranty does not include rust/corrosion to the installation brackets over the life of the product, and only applies to new products installed on the original vehicle. The warranty covers the replacement or repair of any part or parts that are defective and returned to us accompanied with the purchase receipt. Warranty claims cannot be determined until returned products are inspected.
